We are pleased to announce the addition of a brand-new Careray 1500C Direct Radiography System to our practice. This system is cutting edge and allows us to take X-rays of remarkable quality which gives us the best images possible to evaluate your spine or extremities.
Direct radiography systems produce the highest quality images. The difference between the quality of digital vs traditional film is significant. These images are also processed quicker allowing for better results in less time for our patients.
Digital radiography systems are also safer for patients because they reduce the amount of radiation exposure. This reduction can be 50% or more vs other types of X-ray systems. This means that it is much safer for you, the patient!
You’ve gone wireless in almost every aspect of your life so why should your medical X-rays be any different? Wireless capabilities allow for having your images on hand no matter where you are.
All of our digital x-rays are sent to and read by our board certified radiologist in order to give you the most accurate diagnoses.
Direct digital radiography is already here to stay. It’s the technology of today as well as the technology of tomorrow. Why settle for anything less?
Whether your auto accident was large or small it is important to be examined by a medical professional, and usually that starts with conservative care by a Chiropractor.
Many personal injuries may not manifest themselves as pain until many days after an auto accident, so it is important that you get looked at as soon as possible to avoid intense pain that may soon arise.
You may even continue to see new and or different pain from an auto accident injury or other personal injury for one to two weeks following an auto accident. Common symptoms we treat for Sarasota Auto Injuries.
When you injure yourself, pain sensors are triggered and send a message in the form of an electrical signal which travels along the nerves and spinal cord before ultimately reaching your brain. Your brain then “tells you” that you’re hurt.
We must first identify which muscles or ligaments are affected. The human body has between 600 and 800 muscles and thousands of ligaments. Symptoms of muscle sprains or ligament sprains may include pain and soreness.
Herniated discs may be identified in a number of ways. We can usually identify a herniated disc based on your history and the results of the physical exam. The gold standard for identifying a disc herniation is an MRI. Dr. Moscow is happy to order an MRI when appropriate.
The distinctive sign of sciatica is pain that radiates into the side or back of your legs. It may manifest itself as a mild ache, numbness, tingling or a sharp pain. Sciatica may also cause weakness of your leg or foot.
Have you been suffering from pain for 3-6 months or more? Chronic pain can negatively affect your day-to-day life, your mental health and ultimately the quality of your life.
Are you having mild to moderate pain around your head like a headband or pain that headaches that begin in the back of your neck? Do you have tenderness of the front of sides of your head or in your neck or shoulder muscles? We can help treat these uncomfortable symptoms through chiropractic care.
Symptoms of migraine type headaches may include a pounding headache, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, lightheadedness, and sensitivity to light or sound. Symptoms often only occur on one side of the head. Migraines can last from hours to days and can be disabling.
You will be warmly received by Louisa at our front desk and be asked to fill-out some basic paperwork so that we have an understanding of your current and past medical history.
Dr. Moscow will then want to have a conversation with you regarding your current injuries and expectations for your first (or returning) visit so we can ensure that you are happy and get the best care possible.
Dr. Moscow will the do a full history and perform a physical exam. He will then discuss his findings and a course of action with you. Our main goal is to get you feeling better and help you achieve optimal level of functioning.
The history and physical exam we do here is not what you will get from your typical primary care doctor where you are in a room with the doctor for less than 5 minutes.
Dr. Moscow will take as much time as needed in order to carefully listen to your history and then he will walk you through the examination and treatment.
Dr. Moscow has a reputation here in Sarasota for being extremely thorough and personable with his patients and has been achieving amazing results for more than a decade!
